Over the school holidays I try to run pony camps for all our kids. Last week we had out Easter egg hunt and this week we decided to try our hand at showing , well showing with a difference . Yesterday one of my helpers headed into town to pick up lots of bright coloured hair clips and extensions for us to put on the ponies. Everyone yesterday practiced their plaiting and grooming and decided where all their pretty hair stuff was going on their horses .
Today after we had all our feeding , mucking out and grooming done all the ponies were gotten ready and brought out to the sand to show us all how pretty they were , even blue couldn’t escape getting her hair done. At the end of our show everyone had gotten on so well it was red rosettes all around .
