No Resolutions For Me.

Happy New Year everyone , no how many of you have made New Years resolutions ? and what ones have you made ? eat less ? give up cigarettes ? no more junk food ? exercise more ? . Well I have given up on resolutions because I have tried them all and failed terribly at them all . There was a time on New Years day where I would nearly have the shakes now from lack of Chocolate and biscuits but not any more.

This year I have decided its not resolutions I need , it’s some challenges . I am sure as the year goes by I will come up with possibly one or two more and maybe the ones I have decided to start with I won’t be able to keep up , but it wont be from want of trying. So my first challenge is to keep in better contact with some friends who I have let become distant due to being to busy , this is where I will have to make a much bigger effort to email , text , call or Skype them to say ‘ Hi ‘ .

My second challenge is to take lots more photos . About six years ago I went and bought a very expensive , at the time , Canon DSLR and used it for a while and then told myself I was just to busy . It is now time to take it out and dust it off and get taking and sharing some , sorry lots of photos so you have been warned :). When I was a child and teenager I had three passions , art , photography and horses . The only ones my parents totally let me do was the art and photography . Up until I had the littlest farmer I used to do a weekly art class that I will go back to at some stage but photos are going to be first.

This is the big one , the is the one I might not be able to manage but really , really hope I can. I am setting myself and anyone who would like to join me , we will even have our own hashtag for it , the challenge of blogging everyday for the whole year with today being the first day. I always set myself the challenge of blogging everyday for at least a month each year and when I get into the routine of it I love it each day but this will be tougher. I am not going to be strict on what I put up so maybe some days it will be one photo , a quick hello , a 500 word post  , one word , I don’t really know yet but I am sure I will find my pace as I go. So who would like to try this with me ? I am going to use the hashtag #365blogging  so I can see how I am getting on and if anyone would like to join me we can share our posts with lots more.

I hope some of you will join me in my challenges and see how far we can go . So here is to a year of posts , photos and lots of chats with good friends .
